Ive got a kick(made it mono in soundforge), playing in SX3. I put a mono cambridge eq and mono 1176 compressor on the kick insert channel, as soon as i add these plugins the stereo image goes wide as hell, any ideas why??

just make it mono after you process it but i'm not an sx3 person so i dont' know why its's coming out stereo afterwards

Yeah, was just wondering why the mono plugs are making a mono kick really wide, strange

Are you sure you are using a mono track within cubase and not a stereo track?

Got it sorted now dude, was rewiring my drums from FL7 and it hit the mixer as a stereo track
