Fading a channel in FL studio

So I'm relatively new to production and mixing, and I'm beginning with fl studio 7 right now. My question is, how can I change the duration of a channel, or a channel to fade at a certain point or after a certain amount of time? I have certain sounds that last the duration of the song when really I'd like them to stop or fade...

I've tried googling for the answer on my own but can't find a specific answer... thanks!

Here is the link to the FL Studio 8 online manual; unfortunately, I could not find one for 7: http://www.flstudio.com/help/

I would like to help more, but I am not familiar with FL Studio. Try checking out the manual. It may prove useful and answer your question.
