Solaris Heights – No Trace (Popof, Neil Quigley & Original mixes) OUT NOW

Solaris Heights – No Trace

1) Popof Remix
2) Neil Quigley Pacemaker Vox
3) Neil Quigley Pacemaker Inst.
4) Original Vox
5) Original Dub

Solaris Heights return to Renaissance to kick-start 2008! ‘No Trace’ takes off from where ‘Vice’ left us earlier in the year, fusing the bands distinct, 80’s-tinged male vocal with infectious melodies.

Popof twists things up with a peak time banger being hammered by Sasha, Digweed as well as numerous other movers & or shakers.

Neil Quigley, no stranger to the Renaissance decks, jumps to the studio for his production debut on the label, providing a deep-house foil to Popof’s driving interpretation. His remix an expression of his distinct affinity with the beautiful, deep house sound that has established him as one of the most exciting up and coming DJs of recent years.

SOLARIS HEIGHTS – NO TRACE IS OUT NOW THRU DJ DOWNLOAD & BEATPORT

FULL RELEASE & 12” AVAIL. FROM 21.01.08

Quigley Remix for me... cant get enough of the deep vibe and the way every layer is arranged in this remix.

Popof remix is good too, but his own tracks are more to my liking than his remixes.

I think I like Quigley's mix best as well, but who the fuck would call that "deep house"?

Also, only the Popof mix and Quigley Vox are available at Beatport as of now.

the Quigley mixes could definitely work in deep house sets, but i wouldn't classify them as that.

strangely enough, for as much as i love other stuff from Solaris Heights and Neil Quigley, these aren't doing much for me.
