Yet to play BF2142. Vietnam was 1942 with new skins and I hear BF2 was trash, so I didnt bother with the newest.

The new BF looks to be a knock off of Team Fortress 2, which could swing both ways in terms of quality.

Actually it seems to me popular opinion lies in favor of bf2. The main appeal of bf2142 for me is massive battles with a bunch of people and titan mode makes it so much more awesome.
