Real Bodybuilders?

I'm talking about real bodybuilders, people who have a log on what they do, expirement with their workouts, cut-up to get a 6-pack and all that. Not the guys that work out 30min with 10lb dumbells.. the huge guys

Anyways i want to know of good ways to get width, i know its back and all that. Also i need to develope my lats, lat tower broke and i was thinking about getting a power rack to go around my bench with a pulley.. is this a good idea? I'm a teen body-builder, will move my weights and all down to the cement basement soon.
Also is a bowflex really that good? i mean i was thinking of getting a used one.

thanks

well i am not a professional bodybuilder but i workout everyday for a couple of hours and i bench press 280 so i know my stuff when it comes to the gym. bowflex is ok however it is not a replacement for the gym. it doesnt have enough excersises to replace the gym.

you can 65 exercises with it, and i dont go to the gym. I'm a teenager, i cant afford a gym. I work out every other day in my room.

everyday for a few hours? you are aware of overtraining and the catobolic state you can put your body in arent you?

well what kinda excersises do u do to workout ur chest. i dont see enough chest excersise that u can do with a bow flex specially fi u wanna be a body builder. biceps and triceps there are tons of stuff. do u go free weights? do u take any energy drinks or protiens?

i do flyes, incline and reg, dips, and push-ups for my chest.
I can't really do benching because i dont have a spotter or a power rack(yet) and it decreases your ROM, a lot of pros don't bench at all.
Also i dont have the money to buy drinks, bars or any supplements. The equipment i'm gonna get will prolly be used
With a bowflex you can bench, fly, shoulder pullover.. incline or decline too. Thats basically all you need alogn with a dip bar and a pull-up bar

well yeah. i think thats good enough if u cant go to a gym that seems good. try to do lots of chin ups and dips those are the excersises that work the most of ur body along with push ups offcourse.

no i dont think its a lot and most of the pros i read about work out 45-60 minutes because after that time you body turns into a catabolic state. Its not the work out the builds muscle, its the rest peroids, you shoudl get atleast one day of rest inbetween work outs and not overtrain
www.bodybuilding.com has some good articles and studies on it

well i personaly know a bodybuilder who competes professionally. he trains everyday but he does it slowly. lots of reps slowly and with concentration and not heavy weights. he stays there for a while takes his time with excersises and thats how he doesnt owerwork the muscle. concentration--reps--various weights. he starts with light weight than increases the weight and final set goes for reps of light weight.

back to the subject

Well anyways lets get back to the subject.
Whats a good way to add width and thickness? like the specific muscles to work out and what are some good excersises. I know the back will add width and all.
Also for lats and obliques, my lat tower broke so i dont know if i shoudl get a power rack or not

well if u want width. shoulders are very important. try to concentrate on shoulder excersises. they will add serious width. i would wait on the power rack a while. but for widthdefenitly shoulder excersises.
