That's right... FUNKTION ONE is coming to the OC. There's two new multi-million dollar venues built from the ground up opening up in the next few months and one of them has FUNKTION ONE. One is called Heat and it's at the Anaheim Garden Walk (Down the street from Disneyland). The other one is called Ember and it's also a short distance from Disneyland. This is exciting. And guess what? It looks like I'll be playing at one of them. I'll brake the news when I'm allowed. Hehehe

In order to survive in SoCal you have to play hip hop/top 40. Look at Vanguard.

Anyhow, you'll be surprised what these two clubs have in mind. I know people that are working closely with both clubs, and I can tell you one thing... THEY BOTH VERY INTERESTED IN EDM!!!! Actually, I know for a fact that one of the promoters in one of the clubs does EDM events under a different name!!!

Yup!!! Avalon is hip hop Fridays. I met with their promoter last night, and I tried to get a gig there, but that was a no go.

Funktion 1 in OC. Sweet. Thats not to far of a drive for me. Now lets just prey they have an EDM night!

EDM in Anaheim?? That would be new. I'm not convinced there is an appetite for that type of club in Anaheim. A few of you might remember Proof Bar in Santa Ana. A cool spot in the absolute wrong place.

But who knows?? The more choices we have the better, right??
