Born in Brussels, Belgium, Olivier Desmet launched his career in the music business working as A&R and promotions manager for the Afterhours
Music label in Chicago. During his stay in Chicago, Olivier began producing music under the guidance of respected Chicago artist Mazi (aka Audio Soul Project). An offer to manage the world-renowned Moulton Studios facility for Jay-J and Chris Lum prompted Olivier to move to San Francisco in February 2002.
Currently, Olivier lives and works in San Francisco where he runs his label Amenti Music, one of the most respected imprints in the business.
After sixteen releases, Amenti continues to gain popularity thanks to stellar offerings by artists such as Swirl Peepz, ECB, JT Donaldson,
Inland Knights, LawnChair Generals, and many others.
