Thought I heard they may have played to an empty room last year or the year before. Could have turned them off on the conference. I still expect them to maybe pop up somewhere.

Yea last year them, cosmic gate, talla - all played a party and not the greatest turnout. No need to mention the party again, and respect for the organizer throwing one again this year, but guess those artists got turned down since none of them are there this time around.

I went to see Cosmic Gate at Club Love and there were only 20 people TOTAL, you can see they were disappointed (granted it was Friday night and they were up against PVD and so many other parties) but to see them for only $10 was totally worth it.

I heard B&J sucked last year

YEA - they sucked big time. Cosmic Gate wasnt that great either last year. They both conformed to the miami style sounds by playing a chillout set in a way compared to what they are known for. Saw CG 2 months ago and they owned - even with the style change. They just didnt do it in miami.

They did at the event they played at on Friday night at Love, they were sooooooo good!!

yeah Blank & Jones played @ karu last year with above & beyond and sander van dorn in the main room. they were last but by that time there were only like 20 people left in that big ass dance floor, that probably affected their performance cause i didnt like their set. but back in 2006 in metropolis with John 00 they fucking killed it.

i was at both of these blank and jones parties and theyre were sick!! at metropolis it was just nuts...i certinaly expected a bigger turnout for blank and jones and J00F playing but it was an incredible night.. its actually where i met my gf, almost 2 yrs ago now.

as for last year...that karu & y party was nuts. probably the best party i went to all conference in regards to dancing room, quality of djs, and atmosphere/looks of a club. absolutely gorgeous place, but as blank and jones went on the population of the club did weaken but i thought they still played a good set either way.

oh see i didnt go to those I was at the other event they had at Chakra. I thought the set there was terrible.
