Can anyone recommend me some tracks/sets/artists or anything that's like the 3rd cd (88-96 mix) of GU:10? I've had it for years and only ever listened to CDs 1 and 2 but it's brilliant!

Haven't heard that GU disc, but since early prog. house is one of my favourite subgenres of EDM I can recommend you some awesome stuff. You're probably familiar with Leftfield, Spooky, Fluke, Underworld and Sasha's early stuff, so here something equally good, but not that often mentioned:
tracks:
Ready For Dead - Ready For Dead
Atlas - Compass Error (North)
Secret Life - She Holds The Key (H.A.L.F. I'm Believer Mix)
Well Hung Parliament - We Can Be (S1000 Mix)
Voices Of 6th Avenue - Call Him Up (Slam Mix)
Dr. Atomic - Schudelfloss (High On Hedonism Mix)
Quivver - Twist & Shout (Original Vocal Mix)
Solar Plexus - Solar Plexus
Gypsy - I Trance You
Soundscape - Do They Mean Us? (Original)
PKA - Let Me Hear You Say Yeah (Phil Kelsey's '93 Remix)
Brothers Love Dubs - The Mighty Ming! (Brothers In Rhythm Club Mix)
The Aloof - On A Mission (Stanley Mix)
Boomshanka - Do You Have The Power? (This Side Mix)
All Boxed In - ...Happen (Tolley's Stressed Mix)
listen to this while on stackers and yes you're all fucking set
YES. I'm hoping to see 808 state at Gatecrasher summersoundsytem in the summer, there's a whole tent devoted to 20 years of acid house

Well I know this track (and love it), but it's definitely not prog. house. Neither is Pacific State

I thought you were a "true fan" of early prog stuff? Even though you made a thread about 4 months ago confessing you were just getting into prog and asking for recommendations.

The dude is looking for early 90's prog. house (at least that's what it says in the title) and you recommended him detroit techno. The fact that you can't see the difference between them doesn't mean the difference doesn't exist.

Which track are we talking about? React 2 Rhythm- "Intoxication" is a prog-house track. Great track by the way!

Of course he's not, the guy chats bollocks non-stop. Someone should buy him an extra pair of lips so he can talk out of his arse a little bit easier. He's an absolute fucking cheb end.

I'm interested in hearing how the daft bastard explained both his error and his transition from "prog newbie" to "ultimate prog master" in such a short period. Should be fun.
