Sounds good, as far as uplifting trance goes. I cannot go into much of a review simply because I am in a bind right now. However, I listened to it and have fair regards towards the production -- the bassline is a little too drony for my tastes, but it fits alright. The 'M' climax structure is not my cup of tea (buildup, breakdown, chorus, breakdown, chorus, outtro), but for DJ purposes I can see its need. THe melody has a more light-hearted tone to it that, while simple, does not fit the mood of the majority of uplifting trance that I have heard.

Gotta go, but keep it up...

It's definitely very light and uplifting! Perhaps a little too light though ... the low end could have a little more drive to it, I'd add some slightly gruntier stab bass over the top for emphasis perhaps, with the low end filtered out a little so it doesn't interfere with the current bassline. Not a big fan of your kick but I wouldn't worry, that's just a personal taste thing.

The main lead synth is nice, but you can hear as it rises up out of the breakdown that it doesn't have too much depth or layering to it .. but it still suits the track if you're going for that light fluffy sound. The higher-pitched delay synth that comes in over the top after a few bars is probably my favourite part - it's got a very 'cute' sound lol, again adding to the fluff factor (but not in a bad way). Melody is nice.

And as for the pads, they definitely seem to be your strong suit! as one can tell from listening to some of your other work up there on your page.

So I guess atm its a nice light track but as B_man alluded to, it lacks the driving mood that you'd normally hear in an ASOT-style tune. But plenty of non-ASOT material gets a release and does well! Best of luck with it

Thanks for the input, guys! Much appreciated.

Novastorm - fluffy???!!! Oh man, now I feel all girlie . j/k. Actually, we weren't really going for a big, driving ASOT feel with this one and compared with the original version, this version is pretty aggressive. Thanks for the excellent tips!

Lol sorry man .. was searching for the right words to describe the song, I guess in hindsight "cute" and "fluffy" were a tad on the ghey side. I like your style, I think as producers we both appreciate a nice uplifting melody. Speaking of which I really should post some of my material up here sometime soon ...

I know what you mean about starting soft and getting more aggressive the more you work the song ... althought that could be because I tend to start tracks while hungover on lazy sunday mornings and simply can't handle too much doof :P
