Playing outdoors...

So I've got a backyard toga party this Friday that I've been asked to play at. I've never taken my gear outside, but I know DJs do it all the time. It'll be down here in Miami. The weather should be in the mid 70s with mild humidity. I've got 2 cdjs, a mixer, and my laptop. I'll also be bringing out my Truths as I don't have a PA. I'll be under a covered patio.

Is there anything I should worry about playing outside for 4-5 hours?

Thanks guys.

You should be fine, doesn't sound too crazy. If you want to be safe, the manual says operating temperatures suggested for the device.

Sounds like the perfect conditions for playing outside!!

Usually best to have some sort of cover you can throw over it all just in case it does start raining sideways (unless you're going to be a fair way from the edge of the roof over the patio, in which case don't even worry about it)

God I wish I was in Miami the next couple of weeks !

As above, climatic wise

Just be careful of the drunks, with the toga gear spilling their drinks on your gear !

I did something like this about a week ago and all my stuff is fine, just as long as you don't get your stuff rained on the high humidity for a few hours should be no problem at all.

Awesome guys, thanks for the replies.

Now for the hardest part of all...finding some hip-hop to play (not my style)...

Don't have anything besides the Truths unfortunately, but now that it's indoors, I think it'll be okay.
