Does anyone know how to extend this ? Right now my marker at the end stops at around 70 min, however i need to push it back to 80 minutes but the marker wont slide back anymore. Is there another way to make the maximum length longer?

it's a minimal track you're working on, isn't it?

I own a number of movie soundtracks... never in my life have I seen a 70 min one. Sounds like you are attempting to create ambient songs longer than the longest works of Brian Eno.
why don't you just split the whole sound track into several files & merge them as audio in an editor.

I ran into this issue when I moved to Logic from Digital Performer. If you're working to a reference quicktime video... have the editor chop it in half at a scene break and work with 2 sessions.
