Creating vocals

I'm been toying with some acapellas I've found, but I'm curious... is there any software that'll create vocals good enough for production and sounds like a real voice? Or can take a standard voice to change it?

I believe Vocoders can take a standard voice nad change it. There are also some programs that are availible that allow a person to use a pre-recorded voice and program it to say whatever they want and even decide what pitch the lyrics being said/sung are in. I'm not sure how real it would sound though. You would have to search it in google or something because i remember discovering this like 3-4 years ago and I can't remember what it was called.

Nothin beats Realtime recording with a vocalist though.
