i started it back in the 90s when i worked at mcdonalds. each register has the person's name on it and the manager (who was a friend of mine) asked me what name i wanted and i blurted out "chinamon". no idea where it came from but it stuck.
edit: even my dad has addressed me as chinamon a couple times. its pretty funny.

i always wondered about that lol.
Mine amongst people i used to party with in highschool was "Stain" it rhymed with my lastname and i was famous for nice, huge, wet circles, under my arms when partying lol!!
