it would appear trance labels these days only want stuff with memorable melodies.. this is more a filler designed for the early stages of a late set, a niche which is rarely filled it seems

cool track mate, loving that delayed beat intro bout 1min.50
the beat overall sounds spot on as well, and there just enough in teh pecussion to keep thing flowing nicely.
just at 2.30 the tune chnages suddenly and i think that the mel melody that kicks in could do with being automated with the volume so that it suddenly starts to become louder, and not just hit you straight away, or may be filter it in???
cool breakbeat addidtion as well 5min.30, i love adding that stuff in, seems to just make teh track sound so much more alive and gives it that edge imo.
overall mint track keep it up : )

Very tight track dude, huge club sound to it and nothing technical really needs improving. I would actually count it better than an askew track since I find this has a little more interest and movement, especially in the basslines.
You've come a long way since the old days at mpfreescene!

yeah i can see where you're coming from.. it was meant to be a dramatic change but on hindsight i'd have probably let it break for 2-4 bars and give it 1 bar to filter in before the beat comes back, as it sounds a bit random atm. i've done something similar in my latest tune detailed feedback/suggestions are always appreciated!
thanks also sean5 & philby

long time indeed! I remember that remix, and I still have the very earliest version of Terrafusion-Beyond somewhere as well!
I took a long hiatus from tranceaddict but I've started getting more serious about my producing as of early last year so I'm back on and immersing myself in the other upcoming material here. Let's keep in touch - congrats on the release of Senoi, its a top track - good to see some mpfreesceners starting to get recognition! Frase is doing well for himself too

aye i've been slacking a bit with this subforum of late (i know, for shame!).. PM me if you ever post something & i miss it!
thanks re: senoi there was another release last year on MPFS's own label, called 'ultima' if you haven't heard that yet.. that one managed to briefly get playlisted by j00f which for me was the biggest achievement yet. still a while away from reaching frase's lofty heights tho hehe, although getting a remix recently released on discover was a bit of a start
