[Breaks] Mezzir - Fissure

So this is my first real foray into breaks, I've tried a few times before but this is the first track I've ever worked on that I was actually pretty damn happy with. May re-record the guitar part at some point and maybe add a countermelody or something, not sure. But I'm gonna take a few days off from it as I've been just working on this one song the last few days so I'd love any feedback anyone has.

Thanks

Nice i love the guitar. I started learning to play about 4 months ago going to start incorporating it in my music when i have enough money for a preamp and a microphone, and more skill at playing. But, the only negative thing i can say is that i think the guitar would sound better if it were cleaner meaning less distortion. Also, i noticed some timing problems but they didn't really sound bad.

Excellent idea, but I think it could have been executed better. The guitar would sound more organic if it had less distortion. The kick drum gets lost in the mix at times (I'm not talking about the parts where the kick drum was muted). It's just that the drum parts were not totally cutting through the mix enough.

Otherwise, asides from minor production issues, this is a really good idea. I'd like the drums to stick out more in the right, crispy direction... the guitar to sound warmer, and the bass to have a slightly more slap-sound (But that's more personal taste on the bass part).

I'm not sure the guitar fits here, it sounds cheesy to me. like the others suggested, it might fit better if you played it clean.

also, it sounds like vocals might fit nicely and help move things along. just a thought.
