Can anyone recommend some?
I've watched Blackadder, Monty Python series, don't want to watch the whole Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz kind of toilet humour. Carry On was one of my favourites with Yes Minister. Don't mind movies or tv shows, recent or old. Seen all of Guy Ritchie's films and Death at a Funeral. Anything else I should look at?

Fawlty Towers is around the same era as Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister, and it's seriously fucking funny stuff. John Cleese is just a legend.

There are so many genius British shows out there that shit on American TV. As far back as Mind your Language and Carry On and even Bean to shows like the ones mentioned above. Just class.

I totally agree, except I never really got into Mr Bean.

Rowan Atkinson's stand-up comedy is fucking hilarious. Definitely check that out, if you haven't already.
