Just wanted to tell you all what i've been doing for the past week. So i was at work, right? I felt fine all day and then the clock hit four and it was time to go home, and thats when it happened, shazam.
It felt like i had 5 litres of water or something in my lungs and i almost choked at the spot, i was hospitalized for 7 days, and had a tube in my lung for the whole time.
Thing is.. I've smoked for 14 years. Every day for 14 years. And now I quit, it was the hardest fucking thing i've ever done, its a month now and its still making me crazy. And then 2 weeks later this happens.
Im twenty-fucking five, this should not be happening to me.

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

Are you a tall, thin male? If you are, apparently that's why you have this particular plague, not because you smoke.

Smoking will make it go away. You should go right ahead and light one up.

Smoking since age 11 had everything to do with it.

Did you read the Wikipedia article that you posted?
quote:
Primary spontaneous pneumothorax is most evident to people without any previous history of lung disease and in tall, thin men whose age is between 20 to 40 years old. But it can often occur in teenagers and young adults.

Yeah for the most part, it's idiopathic...meaning no-one really knows what the cause of it is. That is, in the case of a closed pneumothorax, like what you have.
It might be secondary to another disease though...so I hope you're having some follow up tests done.
