It's a fun demo, but moving the knobs on the 303 doesn't feel anything like moving them on my 303. When I have a pattern running on mine and move knobs, the sound changes smoothly and dramatically. This demo seemed to move in stages somehow, and also the sound didn't change as much...apart from that, it's a good 303 sound. And the interface looks cool.

(I've been thinking though...the interactive demo may not be reflective of the actual VST instrument...it'd be odd though, I would've thought they'd try to put it in it's best light, really get that sound happening when the resonance is at full and you bring the filter cutoff down really low...)

A number of the guys on these forums have 303s....Roland did make around 80,000 of these things, I think...they're a hassle to use compared with modern synths, but it's a nice little lightweight synth you can take out of the studio and program patterns into...it's fun just having the headphones on, getting a pattern running and having fun with the knobs.

They're very expensive for what they do though. For the same money you can get a much, much more versatile synth. But if you already have a number of synths and still have money to play with, they're good fun.
