ok.. for starters.. me and another guy from my dj crew landed gigs for this thing called "Spring Splash", its a kinda festival thing w/ live performers.. the Alkaline Trio and Talip Kwelib(spelling?) were there and some other alternative bands.. and guest dj's as well.. well my set got fucked because they were lagging and decided that i had to go on early and didn't notify me .. so i lost my set to someone else but then got another one later.. only like 20 mins though.. anyways my mixing was right on and everything was good so I was happy.

the bad news is that it was hot as fuck and we were in direct sun light (it was an outdoor event w/ a stage) and we had no tent or tarp to cover us.. sooo, about 3 or 4 of my records got warped like shit.. and they got warped in about the 4 or 5 minutes i had them exposed.. this really sucks.. the thicker vinyl didn't warp, but some of the thinner records got warped pretty bad.. so i threw them back in my crate and turned it sideways so i'm hoping they will flatten back out.. i don't want to take a blow drier to them cos i don't want the grooves to get messed up.. however i've heard stacking vinyl's isn't good for the grooves either (eventhough they are in the sleeves).. so i dunno.. i'm kinda pissed.
