ok so i was lisening to skibadee @desire ( jungle set) and all of a sudden like 30 min into the set i hear kosheen - hide u

now only the lyrics to it were being song ( by original singer) but the trancey part was replaced with jungle beats

Do you know the original of that song is drum n bass? Are you only familar with remixes of it? Kosheen is drum n bass but is remixed to be trance.

Kosheen is a bristol based DRUM'N'BASS GROUP....the original of hide u was drum'n'bass before john creamer got a hold of it and made it big. Then hiver and hammer remixed catch as well as ferry and made that a hit then tiesto remixed hungry. They are drum'n'bass to begin with......so i'm not surprised you hear them in a jungle set.

i was visiting holland when kosheen hide u must have just been coming out, seemed like everytime i put on TMF, kosheen hide u was being played, and it was the drum and bass version! When i came back to the states, I was telling my peeps that kosheen had some good stuff that would prolly make it to the states eventually...

The video was cool too, it was kosheen in what looked like an underground club that was completeley and utterly jam packed and over full, and the crowd was loving it... I never found that vid, only: "Kosheen-hide_u__svcd-onlyj-mkv.mpg" which is trancey version released much later (also good)....

wow never knew. i hear the drum 'n' bass tune too and was wondering what was going on.....but now i understand.....a d'n'b track remixed well sounds much better as a trancer than a d'n'b'r
