Awesome energy and a whole hell of a lotta funk, rhythm and groove in their work. They put on a good show too - saw them at ACL last year and couldn't sit still for a second. That said, Behrens' voice, while contributing much to the duo's distinct style, does tend to tire the ears... so I don't often listen to their albums all the way through.

Oh cool. Yeah, I have a M-Audio Microtrack and I brought it to ACL. I was wearing a bandana around my head and just stuck the recorder in between the bandana and my head. It looked super funny but I could still dance and drink my beer and rub my girls butt at the same time. It kind of looked like that picture with the "handsfree" headset where the guy has his phone strapped to his head using a rubberband.

The Farina mix is pretty solid. I haven't gotten into that type of house in a good long while. I subscribe to the Fabric CD series. They can be pretty hit or miss but for some reason I just like the metal tins they come in.

The best is when I hear my drunk ass on the recording talking all this funny jibba jabba. A lot of the hootin and hollerin is me too. What can I say, I'm nuttier than squirrel turds.
