Take cover Cascada, Milk inc and Basshunter will find new "inspiration" I already was wondering why they always played the same trancegate riffs.... But now worries RefX added a new trancegate, so they can release their chord seqeuences on another preset (though i would not mind being as succesful as them both )

Please note that you need a USB Syncrosoft Dongle to use this product.
Was this previously required? Real reson for the update? Even if it was I don't blame them as refx must have lost a fortune due to cracks

I've used quite a few reFX things for my latest productions so I always check their site and saw this thing called "NEXUS". It's really amazing because it's so hands on! Most presets are usuable instantly and the editing is simple and effective. It's the most impressive synth I've installed in the last year.
The dongle was not req for Nexus 1.. it looks like all the smaller dev's are going down the syncrosoft route now tho.

Ive always been interested in this vsti, I think it's a great idea but just too pricey $350/£180 is stupid money when you start adding in the price of expansions.
BUT on the other hand I've heard its got great sound quality

lol i agree , nexus is a very powerfull tool but like you said it has to be used right, not like bass****er and asscada who blatently use the straight preset and have refx and other producers looking like twats for using it.I will admit that certain parts of my productions are nexus , but i get it sounding different from a preset for a start!
my car has gone in for a new gearbox , so will have to wait until next month for a try me thinks
