Im new to reason and dont really know where to place snares, hi hats also i want some help in making some techno sounds there was a topic ages back explaining the layers you need to make but i cant seem to find it.
ok i would look for tutorials in general on production, books, etc dont worry about the techno post if you dont find it. Learning the basics 1st will be much better

you sure picked one of the toughest styles to produce for a new producer.
Techno can be classfied as an art. Purely because it has no real fixed way of producing it but when it's finished, you can clearly hear that it's Techno.
