PA Question

A friend of mine owns a Mackie Active speaker which she uses for signing with her band (i'm not sure of the model but it's similar to this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...aker?sku=600652

I would like to use it for a party, but how would one go about connecting a dxm06 to this thing (the dxm06 rear looks like this: http://www.djstore.com/images/produ...um/numdxm06.jpg ). Is such a speaker safe to use for dance music? Thanks in advance.

you need an adapter to go from either the 1/4" out or the rca out to XLR then depending on where the speaker is and how long your adapter is you might need an XLR cable to go to the input on the speaker

i recommend going the 1/4" route, it's probably a bit more easier to find a 1/4" to XLR and it's a balanced out
