How's it going to work? With July 1st being a Tuesday and all...

Do we get a super long weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues) Or work Monday and get Tuesday off then back to work on Wed?

I expect all gov't stuff to be closed on Tues obviously, and probably most stores and such... but what about the rest of us who work normal jobs lol...

Seems kinda pointless to have the weekend off, then back to work for a day then one day off and back to work...

I'm trying to figure it out for work how to book days off so I can hit the Lawler/Dub @ Guv and the Nic/Luke boatcruise and have a day of rest after...

Any insight?

My guess is that people will be back to work on Monday and then have Tuesday off.

I work Monday and have Tuesday off.

I would check with your employer.

Monday is a work day....
Tuesday a Statutory Holiday...

You work Monday. You get Tuesday Off.

If you want time to recover, you'll have to book the Wednesday off since the Dubfire/Lawler is Monday night, and the boat cruise is on the tuesday.

Companies aren't just going to CLOSE down on the Monday so they can get an extra long weekend. Albeit, many people will take a vacation day on the Monday, but at their own expense of course.

I would appreciate it if you all would change Canada Day to July 4th to coincide with our Independence Day so that I may come up for Lawler and the boat cruise. Thank you in advance.
