All depend on situation and music. Neither is absolutely necessary. Though 90% of the time I mix on cue and in key.

yeah... i started off djing before promoting, so i got the basics covered.

but there is an artistry in djing that i never felt i had, example: understanding that chart.

so back to what i asked before, what is DJing in key?
