Over the past few days I have been wondering what the current status of the mix DJ business is. To give some background, I have only been interested in electronic music for a few years now, have only started mixing for a little over a year, and am still a minor (18).

I am fairly clueless over the actual business side of DJing. Any information on this would be not only interesting to me, but helpful as well.
