i like hearing abt djs/producers/composers/preformers who are educated. unlike a dj like oakenfold who all really has going for him is djing and producing.

Not that this thread is about múm, but last night they were fucking incredible. Inspirational. Phenomenal. I was amazed that all of the percussion was done live. As for the extensive soundscapes they fell into during the 15 minute encore of The Land Between Solar Systems, words fail in articulating the experience... a symphony of controlled distortion and effects progressed and progressed, taking me into an unknown sonic dimension, the massive sound system on the the verge of orgasm, the atmosphere becoming thick with múm, and as the sound engineer stood up from his desk and looked on in fear, the performance reached its meridian, and I had arrived.
