TUMBLE DRY LOW
Following in the footsteps of last year’s Shogun Beatboxin’ EP, Siteholder UnCut returns with another sampler of new faces making their debut for the Chicago based label. Entitled “Tumble Dry Low”, the EP features five artists from around the globe dropping a smooth variety of styles as UnCut unveils its 11th release.

Chicagoan Brad Miner has long been a staple in his hometown scene. From throwing underground parties with his Illmeasures crew to rockin’ venues with his live set, the long time friend of Siteholder makes his UnCut debut with “Here I Come” – a solid dance floor number that illustrates his addictive style. Berlin based artist Quell is next with “White Socks”, deftly combining Stateside house roots and modern European flavor.

Quell is followed by Ibiza vet and DC-10 resident Andrew Grant. Following recent releases on Religio Audio and Plastic City, the seasoned deck technician goes deep and dubby with “David's Song”. Barcelona’s Dif bats fourth with “Fuzzyhead”, a fun techy track that is destined to be heard on your local underground club’s sound system.

Venice based Opossum recording artist Pablo Rez’s “Osaka” rounds out the EP. Delivered to your doorstep funky and chunky; booty shaking is inevitable when this track drops.

Barcelona, Berlin, Chicago, Ibiza, or Venice – pick your poison, it’s bound to be an enjoyable trip.

What people are saying:

Alland Byallo (Floppy Funk / Kontrol / liebe*detail) – “Andrew Grant's and Pablo Rez's tracks are great! Nice release.”

Daniel.fx (Highgrade / Trenton) – “Thanks for this one...I think it’s really the best I have heard so far. I am really into Andrew Grant and Brad Miner...totally my style ; )
The Pablo Rez one is great again. Cheers from Berlin.”

Dave Martin (Immigrant / Technique) – “Do you guys not sleep!?? ;-) Thanks as ever for sending this - I'm really digging the Dif track, well and truly in the box/laptop! Cheers.”

Jeff Samuel (Poker Flat / Trapez) – “I like the Andrew Grant track, will play.”

Little Mike (Beatport) – “Ooooh! Nothing’s better than discovering new artists with talent and fresh ideas. Fantastic EP here, the standout tracks being all of them. Great deepness and mood, with plenty of punch to keep them movin’ and shaking. Excited to hear more from these producers! 9/10. (Actually,) I retract my statement. Track of the EP is ‘White Socks’ by Quell. That’s some classy loopy. Boring in the best possible way, and yes, that is a compliment. A+”

Sean O’Neal a.k.a. Someone Else (Foundsound / Microcosm / Tuning Spork) - “This EP is really solid, thanks so much!!!”

Simon Baker (20:20 Vision / Connaisseur / Infant Records / Playhouse) – “As usual always something to fit in my sets. Really liking the Andrew Grant deep groover. Will support for sure. Liking the whole of the EP to be honest. Couple more I can definitely use, and will. Cheers. P.S. – (I’ve) been supporting the Huge Hephner Siteholder also…don’t have name to hand, but like I say, always something I use on each release. Good work guys...keep it up.”

Tyler Stadius (Fabric) – “Great tracks! I'll play all of these. ‘Here I Come’ takes the cake. Stompy and dirty. Thanks again for sending.”

Xpansul (Discos De Lata / Plus 8 / Trapez) – “Nice compilation, different grooves for different moods. My favs are ‘White Socks’ and ‘Fuzzyhead’. Support from me!”
