It disconcerts me greatly when I find Americans who still think our democracy is the greatest on Earth, let alone even a legitimate democracy. I do not refer to George Bush as President Bush, and no one should be doing so. He is the leader of this country by way of a corrupt Supreme Court and a even more corrupt voting machine company [Diebold].
These movies should give pause to Americans on the way they watch news, vote, etc... but I still see these naive individuals proudly rallying for mainstream candidates like Obama, Clinton, and McCain, even though they are all part of the same establishment which seeks to prevent progressive social and political change both domestically and internationally.
The actions of the uninformed, arrogant, and misguided majority in this country and around the world gives individuals like myself a reason to cling to apocalyptic nihilism as a viable and prudent philosophical, religious, and political outlook on life.
