Could anyone possibly recommend a good place to upload mixes for people to download (Friends etc)

No download time, comments, very easy to find the download button (big and obvious), no randomly "the amount of bandwidth allocated to your country hsa been exceeded" or "the free service is temporarily out of order, no numbers or anything like that. Files don't expire so long as you signup for an account and get at least one download a month AND if they do expire you get 4 days to press a button to get them another month of non expiry. Very nice speed faster than the sendspace or megaupload or rapidshare etc... can't think of anything wrong with it... although technically it is meant to be for gaming related files but fuck they don't police it and so long as its not illegal they hardly care.

does the downloader have to have an account?

i'd recommend the internet.

Nope for e.g. (one of my goa trance mixes... obviously you don't need to dl it but as soon as you click the download now button the dl starts... none of this going through 3/4/5 pages to get to dl etc)

Seriously megaupload and Sendspace are pieces of shit.
