Read This! Why don't many girls like wordless music?

The vast majority of girls that I've met, including my girlfriend, don't like wordless music, or at least don't like it enough to seek it out actively. It seems like music without lyrics or singing tends to have a much bigger fan-base among guys than among girls. And I've heard more than once from DJs and others that the key to getting females out on the dance floor is to play a pop remix or at least some kind of track with prominent vocals.

Is this similar to your experience? And why do you think that might be?

I admit.. I am a vocal whore.

I lean more to the techier side if it's wordless.

edit - but that's a hell no to the pop music remixes

Yeap, i totally agree with you, at least for the majority of ladies, but...i don't know why!

Must by some complex bio-psycho-social interaction of some sorts... Just gimme a minute to think.

Girls like guys who are passionate about something. If you are passionate about worldless music, you can still manage to screw her

Well, I don't have any problems in that department, and that wasn't what the thread was about.
