I'm writing a paper regarding intellectual property (copyright shit), and I wanted some feedback from fellow DJ's. How do you guys feel about recording a mix for promotional use and handing it out. Its technically illegal, but I feel we are just promoting the track/producer. I can kinda understand where the record industry is coming from too though. If they cant sell it they cant afford to pay the artist or producer. Any feedback will do
