synth used for lead in "not exactly"

ok hate me cause all a lot of you guys are deadmau5 haters...but i wanted to know if any of you guys knew what kind of synth hes using for the "not exactly" lead. it sounds very crisp and pleasant as the cutoff increases...almost sounds analog.

thanks

he still could have done it with a moog. it has multiple osc. he could have changed the pitch of the second osc to a 5th or whatever. it sounds way too good to not be analog.

It's quite possible to do this lead on a monophonic synth by setting the 2nd osc to a 5th like piku303 said. Here is the melody played with only 1 finger to just show it

Monophonic lead

here:

Use moog.

You only need the 1st 2 oscillators for this. Turn off the 3rd.

1st Osc:
-Range 32'
-Saw Waveform

2nd Osc:
-Range 16'
-Saw Waveform
-Transpose +7 semitones

Filter:
Cutoff Freq: ~158.7Hz
Filter Emphasis: 0%
VCF Contour Amount: ~55.76 ST
Attack: 1ms
Decay: 113ms
Sustain: -12.4dB

Loudness Contour:
Attack: 1ms
Decay: 913ms
Sustain: 0dB

Play in C4.

to get the increase in rawness like in not exactly, open up the cutoff freq and the contour amount knob at the same time.
