Acanac actually looses money on you for the first year. Every DSL reseller (Acanac included) has to pay $20/customer to bell. So if you subscribe by them, you are paying them $19/month, and they are paying bell $20/month.
For the Voip it is only $10/month if you have your own ATA (Voip modem). If you rent their's, it is another $10, so $20month. I went out and bought my own for $70, so after 7 months of the $10/month service, you actually start saving money by not renting their's.
Also, if you are going to have dry(or naked) DSL, it will cost you an extra 8/month. So that brings the cost to $27 or $47 per month.
So in the end the DSL price works out to be very close to bell's, but I am just happy not being directly under them, and having unlimited bandwidth. Added to that, Acanac gives you 100GB free online storage, and a free virtual computer (which I actually use a lot), its a pretty good deal.
Buyer beware: their tech support is not great, so do not expect 24/7 tech support. Once you get them on the phone or email, they are pretty good.
