It is. But at the same time, if you say someone got shot in the head, that doesn't necessarily mean they were struck in the face region.

What a way to go for the g/f. I'm guessing head would mean any part other than the front area. Meaning she got shot in front first, and the side/back of the head.
Either way, it's pretty bad way to go. Maybe more executions should continue for crimes like these, and much worse ones.
