Gays have historically been persecuted, and many still are while growing up, until they move to a more gay-friendly place. Once they make it out there, perhaps they feel a sense of relief and want to "cut loose" by publicizing what they had to keep a secret for so long.
I dont understand why they all need rainbow flags on their car. I am guessing if you are gay and you see someone with a rainbow thing you go hit on them? Or wtf?
