If this is anything similar to what his three-piece band tour was supposed to sound like, then I'm incredibly pissed; this is fucking great. I had the chance to see them twice on the west coast but they had to pull out due to visa issues. Goddamnit.

Yeah, I'm barely half-way through and he's still kicking ass. Yebus.

Yeah I read about them having some issues on RA.
I am making it my mission to see Willner within the next year.

Saw him live last year when he was touring by himself, and it was a solid performance. I'll have to upload my videos from the show in the next couple of days.

The way it develops is "sublime" haha. I love how The Field provides the loopy basis and !!! revolve around it playing various riffs and distorted effects, creating an ever-changing minimalistic maelstrom of music, re-creating a kind of 60s-70s crazy psychedelic acid rock session. I love how after the middle of the video !!! come with some really nusty punk-funk-riffs,and also after the ambient break and the crazy exploding drumming that follows it. At times, the looped quitars brng to mind the excellent post-rock duo that is "El Ten Eleven" who actually work in the exact same way, taking loops from analogue instruments, building repeatetive emotional trips which actually end-up quite "maximal" (with many evolving loops playing at the same time). Drum-work is also very intense. This could also be Daft Punk in a psychedelic minimal trip. Oh fuck it, this could be the future of music!
