Yeah, at the end of this post Im going to resubmit my newly mixed track (mixed as in, mixed with the master volume and EQ).
Thanks man. I guess knowing shit about music sorta helps you...make it have more starting potential than a starter. I make my drum beats with Redrum, I was told that the basic drum beat has a snare, a basedrum, a clap, and possibly hihats. So I heard its like, pardon my crappy diagram, but
BD S BD|C S BD S BD|C
Meaning, Basedrum Snare Basdrum and clap at the same time, then repeat.
Monotonous, meaning like, bland, not original, etc? If so, thats the case I am looking for. I want to make a cliche trance track to figure out what the backbone and structure is.
How do I mute out everything but the drums, and slow it down? Is there a program that does it for me? Or do I just have to train my ears.
Anyways, thanks for the compliments, Im still a beginner when it comes to Reason 4.0, so hopefully you guys have heard that, and see that in my post.
Anyways, this one here is the final one until further notice (meaning someone gives me advice or another form of criticism)
So please, tell me your thoughts when listening to it.

Hey there,
You asked, because you said you where a noob, not to get whipped wright away. So I'll wait a little bit with that
You arrangement is not that bad, as mentioned before, you should really learn the technical aspects of producing. I can't hear any kind of kick at all.
Second, the sounds are a bit outdated. But for a beginner, I think you will get to understand how to do all this.
If I can give you a tip, seek the kind of style you like to create (that has already been released) and try to recreate that. In that way you will learn a lot by just recreating a song.
Also, find a decent drum sample set, I would really recommend the Vengeance Series.
Good luck and fun producing!!
