[REVIEW] Switch @ AMNH "One Step Beyond"
This was just fawking awesome!!! Switch absolutely mayhemed it from the get go. Bombing the place to the last track. I dunno any IDs but the base was banging hot. The opening DJ rocked it hard getting the decks wet for Switch.
The sound system was finally tweeked out and the music sounded reasanbly good. All ya kids who went before and missed it this time: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, LOSERS!!!!
BTW... it was the last show there for the season. I met the party producer and he said it was the last show until later in the year.
I am going to sleep now. I had a long week. I was haappy to see the only other NYTA besides me there. You know wh o you're buddy.

it got better near the end. I thought the last AMNH party was much better. It seemed like Switch only played for an hour and 15 min.
Recovery mode = still on! Especially after catching some throat disease in Detroit. damn u crackheads!
I was hoping June would be the last AMNH show!!

it waaas awesome!!!! the 40 mins. we got to see! lol! we missed our train into the city and caught another one that got us there around midnight. we took an exhaust scented cab ride over the central park area only to find it was blocked over. we were re-routed. got to the museum. we went in the wrong entrance. we got in, they said it was sold out. then they told us we could go in and we had 5 mins. to get a drink! they told us the last one would be in june though??
we got in there though, got our drinks, got right up front. was looking for jayRP, etc...didn't spot him anywhere! next time Jay!!!!! I surprisingly got some really cool vids! the sound/visuals came out pretty good for my little digicam! When I get time to upload, I'll share! it's a shame we only got to see 40 mins. of his set but at least we made it there! and the 40 mins. we saw was well worth it! I was hoping he would keep going though! was an awesome time none the less!!!!! soooo much fun!!! we definitely would love to make it out to another one of the amnh events!
there didn't seem to be much going on afterwards.. so we decided to head back to CT. That was an adventure...with subway entrances being closed, etc...and broken upwards escalators that went on for what seemed like miles....we caught the last train before the 5:30 a.m. one and headed back. too bad marco carola was cancelled, I definitely think we would have stayed for that one!!!!!
Glad everyone had a great time! definitely again for sure!

It was a fun nite @ the museum. The opener was quite good as well...was getting worried that switch wasn't gonna come as 11:30 arrived...Though Switch came on @ 11:45. I thought his set was ok...a little sloppy in some parts in my opinion (I heard him spin better before). The only part about the nite that irked me was the sound...I thought that Switch cranked the sound up too loud. Was pretty harsh on the ears if you didn't have earplugs. Plus his style of music is quite bass heavy. All in all, I Had a good time. And was happy he ended with Sick Na Good and This is Sick!!! Too bad i never got to bump into any of you TA's...till next time!

yeah... few and far between though. it's hard getting everyone together to get out there! I would love to get out there more often again! but, prob. not for armin! I only like one armin track these days. haha! I stayed a loyal armin fan for as long as I could. but, my tastes have been changing for a while! lol!
we gotta meet up again!!!!!
