FILM LOUNGE - going downhill?
I hit Film fairly regularly and have done because I liked the dirty electro beats and the anonymity of the place. Aadil and Jayforce were and still are amazing. However, I have noticed that lately that with other DJs, the music has changed, with a lot of vocals and big uplifts.. which is great in a trance club but personally, I can't handle standing around for 30 seconds while I wait for the beat to come back. I get bored and feel like a spare part. The whole point of Film is that it's a dirty afterhours playing dirty beats.
Anyone else noticing this?

House is not just a groove. House is a feeling. And when u feel it, you will understand... house music gets you up and makes you high...

I think you have to like everything dirty to hit film regularly. I always thought it was one of the shadiest electronic clubs in the city.

Film Lounge and Comfort Zone same nasty parents. Footwork younger sibling to the other 2...at least that's how I remembered the trio!

Nice analogy.
I always considered The Gallery to be a younger brother of CZ

You think Jayforce is good, there's your problem.
Ok, he was good... now i'm not sure. I was just trying to be nice rather than slag him off for the most recent set I saw which WAS lousy..
I saw him at zone recently and there were WAY too many effects in his set and it turned me right off.. I actually prefer the roaches. I cannot tolerate the Guv anymore... it's just way too hot in there and I can never settle in a room. Love footwork.. I guess I'm running out of club ideas, so I hit the same old place and hope something good will happen.
And yes, I like dirty beats and if that makes me dirty, then I think that's a bonus!
