Why is 'Chocolate Rain' so popular?



I only recently saw this video, after watching the south park episode that mentioned it. I cannot understand why it has over 23 MILLION views. Yeah its moderately catchy, the guy looks like hes 12 but is actually like 25, and he moves away from the mic to breathe in...... but whats the big deal?????

I just dont understand it!

Can someone please explain it to me????
