About the album: i've listened to it once and it was very good. The album is impressive, it's packed with instruments, sounds and performances, you can really tell that a lot of time and effort went into it. The palette of sounds is incredibly rich, it's traditional, ethnic, electronic and experimental at the same time. Sometimes i think there was too much going on in the same track , some things sounded a little random which made the whole appear a little disjointed. But remember these are my first impressions, some things might stick better after a few listens, i don't expect any seriously good music to be instantly rewarding. What i also like is that the album doesn't try so hard to fit in with the cliched "psy-chill" or dub labels but instead does its own thing.

Favorite tracks: "Transmissions In Bloom" and "One Step Closer".

Not trying to miserable mate but why not a wee free DL for all the punters who are either skint, or just like to have the chance of new music without having to pay through the nose...this is after all a site for non-profit makers. Swallow your commercial pride and give the paupers a listen. Sometimes it pays to be nice in the long run. x ( I may be Scots, but not miserable ..Love Ya) Eddie.

Actually, with our new release the Vataff Project new album, Kalitz, we are giving a free track for download (you check it here: http://www.aleph-zero.info/media/Al...VataffFlyer.htm), and it is sort of a test to see how ppl react to that.

There's also some stuff for download at the Shulman website: www.shulman.info (including a live version of Ra Heya remix).

As for commercial pride, I'm afraid we don't have much of that :-) (we do have a lot of pride in our music, but it ain't that commercial....)
