Thoughts on the new Universal Nation remix?
Randomly heard it on the Zabiela & Booka Shade Essential Mix. I didn't think too much of it. It's basically a techno/tech house version of the trance anthem. Seems rather paint-by-numbers to me but probably works wonders on the floor. I haven't any idea who's behind the remix yet, maybe you all do.
Here's the tracklisting by the by.

if need be I could upload the set though it'd probably be quicker to just download it from somewhere else. I thought James's set was decent overall.

Really, I don't know. I'm rather tired of these remakes since they seem to be drab 9 times out of 10. I'm sure this one would killllll on a floor, but I'm not really liking it :/

Totally.

It's effective, but that's about it. And even that's debatable.

ill agree with that. three years ago id probably have more faith in his track selection, now its been downgraded to them most likely being 'somewhat decent'.
im not expecting a big tune nor do i even want one, im just curious as to how he implemented it the into the mix; especially with all of his efx, scratching, etc. i bet he could make even a horrible rehash sound bearable.
