Anything good like command and conquer?

I found World in Conflict apparently you can have controls over submarines but it might be overkill for my system.

the "Worms" series of games (esp the earlier ones) is as far as I bother to go.

Supreme Commander sucks. Get World in Conflict. At 800x600 and medium details, it will run on pretty much any system. I also recommend Company of Heroes for a good WW2 strategy game.

forged alliance is chess with thousands of individual units shooting the shit out of each other with simulated ballistics. i can understand why it isn't your thing, but don't lie to the children that "it sucks". for those willing to learn the game, other rts titles become childish in comparison.

it has to be modern. the thing I dont like about world in conflict from the pictures I have seen it is not like a toy like command and conquer you have to hide people in buildings. I would like a game that is like an overview of a map and is fun to play but gives you more weapons. i guess it would be boring to have all those stupid stupid army vehicles too many variables. but a few tanks and artillery and submarines would be cool but probably would ruin it. Defcon is a cool game but mine always crashes.

how can you say that sucks? calculated ballistics for the win
