I really have no words at the moment... I've watched him so often, especially this election season.
He was the only commentator worth listening to. His debates were always engaging and lively. His analysis was the most in-depth and insightful in this country.
He was a true professional. I am shocked by how unexpected this is, I only saw him on TV days ago.

"It is my sad duty to report this afternoon" that Russert collapsed and died while working in the network's Washington studios, Brokaw said when he came on the air.
The network said on its Web Site that Russert had been recording voiceovers for this Sunday's "Meet The Press" when he was stricken.

Man, Brokaw was visibly shaken up. I really feel for those folks at NBC news right now - they're all pretty devastated. Poor guy just came back from vacation celebrating his son's graduation. I'm sure his family's struck hard as well. Thoughts and prayers are with them all.
Can't say I always agreed with him, but he did have his terrific moments and was no doubt a major icon in politics. He will be greatly missed.

So very sad
I have watched Tim and everyone else on MSNBC this entire election period, I am shocked to say the least. I hate Friday the 13th. I cant imagine what his friends and family are going through, he seemed like such a great guy. Very Sad day in Political news.

Unfortunately my genetics are such that exercise and diet alone will still leave me with a heart attack around 40-50 years of age.
It isn't only fat people who suffer from heart disease. Not to say that I'm skinny because I'm not. But with my medication I'm better than someone who is super skinny eats right and exercises all the time.
