i still don't understand this "group think" Hillary Clinton being Obama's running mate.

it's insulting any way you look at it.

I think she would be the most viable candidate for Obama, that being said because she was the one who gave Obama a real run for his money. together they can solidify the Democratic Vote. I think with her experience in the White House already it wont hinder Obama, it will only assist him in his presidency. People are really pissed at whats happening to our country and are screaming for change!

so basically you don't think Obama can win and be the POTUS on his own merits, right?

People are screaming for change, and that is exactly why Clinton would be a DISASTER for Obama. He would certainly gain some of her supporters, but would lose most of his own. People like Obama because he promises change...he promises not to be a typical politician. Hillary Clinton represents the establishment...the entrenched political interests that have been in power for 50+ years. She is the opposite of change, and will disillusion all of Obama's supporters. If he really wants to win, he should pick a charismatic and "safe" running mate...someone preferably more conservative than him to win over the middle n the country. I think Evan Bayh would be a perfect choice. That ticket would absolutely destroy Mccain.

Bayh, who i have nothing against really, voted for the war.

he was one of the many Democrat Senators pushing Saddam WMD intel for the run-up.

I would like to believe that he could, but honestly I dont think he could win on his own, he needs to have someone with him to capture the missing votes he wasnt getting, granted that Hillary might take away votes, but then again those people were on the fence anyway and not really in it to win it. I just think the DNC really needs to win.

A friend of mine thinks that BO wont actually end the war in 20 Months, I think if he gets elected and wants to be re-elected the war needs to be over with.

I will bet any amount of money that Hillary Clinton will not be offered the VP spot. In fact, if someone points me in the direction of a website that takes betting on who the VP won't be then I'd be happy to put my money where my mouth is.

In my opinion it'll be between Brian Schweitzer and Jim Webb. Ted Strickland is also a possibility if they think his clout in Ohio and his ability to win back disaffected Clinton supporters are likely to be important come November.

I'm sorry, but do people really think that those in Appalachia that said that race mattered in the primary will be for an Obama/Hillary ticket? Really? (I feel like Kyle from that South Park about the 9/11 conspiracies)

I think he should pick the person that will help him best through the next 4-8 years, not who will be the best during the next 6 months.
