Dunno Carl B just a thought - different main riff

Just bought the CD single on enhanced progressive. The main riff is different from the version on ISOS 7. Not hugely different but it is more simple in places. For me this has ruined it as I loved the complex key changes in parts of it.

Anyone know why this is? Is the version from ISOS 7 available anywhere or on another label? I notice in the sleeve notes for ISOS 7 it is not credited to enhanced progressive but Black Hole.

Cheers

On Beatport, you can apparently download it from the ISOS 7 digital release and Enhanced Progressive release, but I really didn't notice a difference between the two from the samples I heard (unless they just reused the existing sample for the Enhanced Progressive release, but it still sounds identical to what I heard on ISOS 7). The only noticeable difference was that the ISOS 7 download runs four seconds longer.

But if the one that appeared on ISOS is the one you're looking for, I suppose that would be the way to get it.

...you think I said ISOS enough times in this post?

Listen to the complexity of the main riff right before the first bass key change. The version from enhanced progressive has a simple one note transition to match the bass key. The ISOS 7 version has a nice complex rhythmic change instead.
Anyway thanks for the advice I'm on Beatport so will have a go at that. I assume the ISOS 7 digital relase is the full track and not just cut from the mixed version on the CD?

I'm almost positive it's the full track.

If you're not sure, just compare the run times from the CD to the download to be sure (I'm sure the CD cut isn't eight minutes).

EDIT: Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah, there is a distinctive enough difference there to be noticeable. I actually think I like the Enhanced Progressive version better.

Anyway, sounds like the ISOS download ought to get you what you need.

he did the same thing with his track "All Day", the released version had the same melody but it sounded way more cheesier compared to the unreleased one, totally pointless
