How do i boost my internet signal. lately the wireless connection at my library is slow as hell. Dunno if cause theres a lot of people using it or they change something. But how do i improve it on my laptop. How do those wifi cards work on laptops?

It's entirely dependant on their equipment and connection. If it was fine for you before but sucks now, you can't do much about it.

Try renewing your IP adress

start
run
type cmd + enter
type: ipconfig /renew (exactly that way) + enter

I have no idea what it means to renew your IP address but whenever I do this at school my signal boosts

technically it shouldnt boost any signal.
